Charles Mesure

Charles William David Mesure (born August 12, 1970 in Somerset , England , United Kingdom ) is a New Zealand actor .

Life

At the age of five, his family moved with him to Sydney , Australia . Mesure attended Newington College from 1982 to 1987 and graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Art in 1995 with a degree in acting.

A year later, he moved to New Zealand , where he quickly got some acting roles. In 1998 he was nominated for a Best Actor New Zealand Television Award for his performance as Ryan Waters in the New Zealand soap opera City Life . In 2003 he won the Best Supporting Actor award for the role as Kees Van Damm in the drama series Street Legal . Mesure is best known internationally for his role as Kyle Hobbes in series V - The Visitors . He also played the Archangel Michael in the television series Hercules and Xena - The Warrior Princess .

In 2010 he played Alex Ross , the main character in the television series This Is Not My Life . From autumn 2011 he was seen in the role of Ben Faulkner in the eighth and final season of the series Desperate Housewives .
