Charles Richard Mulrooney (born January 13, 1906 in Brooklyn , USA ; † August 5, 1989 ) was auxiliary bishop in Brooklyn .

Life

Charles Richard Mulrooney received on 10 June 1930, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On February 24, 1959, Pope John XXIII appointed him . the titular bishop of Valentiniana and ordered him auxiliary bishop in Brooklyn. The Bishop of Brooklyn, Bryan Joseph McEntegart , donated to him on April 22 of that year, the episcopal ordination ; Co-consecrators were the Auxiliary Bishop in New York , James Henry Ambrose Griffiths , and the Coadjutor Bishop of Lafayette, Indiana , John Carberry .

On January 13, 1981, Pope John Paul II accepted Charles Richard Mulrooney's resignation on grounds of age.
