Charlie Charles (* 24. March 1994 in Settimo Milanese , Province of Milan as Paolo Alberto Monachetti ) is an Italian record producer . He is considered to be the pioneer of the " trap generation".

Career

Monachetti dropped out of high school after changing schools several times in the past year to devote himself to music. From 2015 Charles began working at Marracash and Shablo 's Roccia Music label with Sfera Ebbasta and Ghali , who subsequently both broke mainstream and topped the charts. Also Tedua , Izi and the Dark Polo gear were successfully produced by Charles. His studio is in the Seguro fraction of Milan . He gave up his initial DJ job in 2017. Together with Sfera Ebbasta, he founded his own label BillionHeadz Music Group (BHMG) in 2018 .

Charlie Charles released the song Bimbi under his own name in 2017 , in collaboration with Izi, Rkomi , Sfera Ebbasta, Tedua and Ghali. It reached number three on the charts. This was followed by Rap and Niagara (with Izi) and in 2018 Peace & Love (with Sfera Ebbasta and Ghali). With the song Soldi co-produced by Charlie Charles , the singer Mahmood won the Sanremo Festival 2019 .
