Charlottesville Open 2014

The Charlottesville Open 2014 took place September 18-21, 2014 in Charlottesville , United States . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2014/15 and belonged to the PSA International 25 category .

Defending champion was Martin Knight , who did not run again. Alister Walker won the tournament by beating Lucas Serme in the final . The game ended in 6:11, 11: 3, 16:14 and 11: 6.

The field of participants consisted of 16 players, four of which were reserved for qualifiers. The eight best players were seeded. Per Wildcard got Joe Chapman a starting spot in the main draw.

Prize money and world ranking points

At the tournament, the following prize money and world ranking points were paid out or credited for reaching the respective round. Players who entered the main field from qualification received the specified qualification points in addition to those for reaching the respective round. Otherwise the amounts are not to be understood as cumulative. The total prize money was $ 25,000.
