Charsenoi ( Russian Харсеной , Chechen Хьорсана ) is a village (selo) in Chechnya with 160 inhabitants (as of October 14, 2010). During the period of forced resettlement of the Chechen population of the area from 1944 to the end of the 1950s, the village was called Dalneje in Russian .

Charsenoi is located in the northern part of the Greater Caucasus on the Martan , a right tributary of the Sunscha , about 50 km as the crow flies south of the republic capital Grozny . Charsenoi belongs to the Shatoiski rajon , is located about 12 km west-northwest of its administrative center Shatoi and is the seat of the rural community Charsenoiskoje selskoje posselenije, which also includes the village of Maly Charsenoi ("Little Charsenoi", about 4 km northwest).
