The Chastelhorn is a mountain in the Gotthard massif .

The 2973 m high mountain in the canton of Uri lies above the old Gotthard railway tunnel , in the area of the municipality of Hospental .

The mountain is not to be confused with the Chly and Gross Chastelhorn in the canton of Valais or the Kastelhorn in the canton of Ticino on the border with Italy .
