The Chełst (German Chaust or Chaustbach ) is a river in the Polish province of Pomerania north-northeast of the city Lębork ( Lauenburg ) springs and shortly before its confluence with the Baltic Sea in the Leba ( Leba flows).
geography
The 31.8 km long river rises near the village Gościęcino (Gmina Choczewo , until 1938 Chottschow ), which was known as Gossentin before the Second World War , first flows through the villages of Zwartowo (Schwartow) and Ciekocino (Zackenzin) in a northerly direction, turns away in the near the Baltic coast near the lighthouse Stilo westward flowing behind the coastal dunes to the lake Sarbsko ( Sarbsko lake ) and then flows in the center of the small town of the same name in the Łeba.
