Chelsea Johnson (born December 20, 1983 in Atascadero , California ) is an American pole vaulter .
Johnson achieved her international breakthrough when she surprisingly won the silver medal at the 2009 World Athletics Championships in Berlin with a jumped height of 4.65 m. She shared the second place with the same height Pole Monika Pyrek .
Johnson is the daughter of January Johnson , who at the 1972 Olympics in Munich won the bronze medal in the pole vault.
