Cherno Sowe
Cherno Sowe (born November 23, 1978 ) is a track and field athlete from the West African state of Gambia , who specializes in the short distance . He once took part in the Olympic Games .

Cherno Sowe participated in a competition at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta :
- In the 4 × 100 m relay competition , he ran together with Dawda Jallow , Momodou Sarr and Pa Modou Gai . Sowe ran as third of the season, which was last in the run-up with 41.80 s and thus could not qualify for the semi-finals.
