Chobienice (German Köbnitz ) is a village in Poland that belongs to the municipality of Siedlec in the Greater Poland Voivodeship .
The place is about 14 kilometers northwest of Wolsztyn , 72 kilometers west of Poznan and has about 1300 inhabitants.
In the 18th and 19th centuries the village belonged to the Mielżyński family, who had a palace built here and a church.
