Chorlight ( spelling : CHORLIGHT ; also: ChorLight ) was a German gospel choir from Rudersberg .

history

The choir was founded in 1986 by the Norwegian music producer Egil Fossum as one of the first gospel choirs in Germany. Under his leadership, Chorlight became known nationwide. In addition to publishing his own albums, he was involved in various concept projects for music producer Hans-Werner Scharnowski and songwriter Detlev Jöcker . In addition, Chorlight took an active part in the organization of the Fossum-initiated GoGospel gospel festival with up to 1500 participants for 16 years . After almost thirty years of directing the choir, Fossum moved back to Norway in late 2012. Damir Brajlovic led the choir until 2014 , from mid-2014 the singer, vocal coach and actor B. Free . The choir was dissolved in 2015 and the register sheet was closed by the Stuttgart District Court in June 2019. The association is thus deleted.

The choir was partly in cooperation with prominent athletes such as Giovane Élber and Fredi Bobic with benefit concerts for charitable purposes.
