Huseyin Zeybek

Hüseyin Zeybek ( Greek Χουσεΐν Χασάν Ζεϊμπέκ Chouseïn Chasán Zeïmpék , born March 11, 1968 in Xanthi ) is a Greek pharmacist and politician of the left Syriza party .

Hüseyin Zeybek comes from the Turkish minority in western Thrace . He attended the pharmacy school of Gazi University in Ankara , was the director of a minority school in Xanthi and has been working as a pharmacist in the city since 2003.

In the 2009 parliamentary elections , he ran as a member of the Syriza party for a seat in the Greek parliament , but was not elected, as was the case when he was run for the post of vice governor in the regional elections in 2010 . In the general election in May 2012 , he was finally elected for the constituency of Xanthi , as well as in the new elections in June of that year. In the elections in January 2015 and the elections in September , he was re-elected.
