Chrastná (German Chrastney , also Chrasney , Krasney ) is a settlement in the municipality of Vlastislav in the Czech Republic .

Chrastná is on the other side of the Modla on a hill and about ¼ hour southwest of Skalka .

history

Chrastney was first mentioned in 1184 as Chrazna , 1291 as Crastna , 1399 as Chrasstne and 1552 as Chrastna . The name goes back to the Czech adjective chrastný , derived from the old Czech word chrast for bushes. In the years 1787 and 1833 the place had nine house numbers with a total of 43 inhabitants, of which in 1833 seven houses were subjects of Dlaschkowitz, two houses were subjects of Netluk. Chrastney has been parish since at least 1674 in the parish of Suttom , in whose church records it has also been to be found since then.
