Christopher Hortman (born September 13, 1988 ) is an American basketball player .

career

Hortman, who comes from Milwaukee in the US state of Wisconsin , played basketball as a student at Wauwatosa East High School, followed by university basketball at Milwaukee Area Technical College (NJCAA), where he was an average of 14 in 30 appearances in the 2009/10 season , Scored 4 points, and Missouri Valley College ( NAIA ), where he was on the field in 27 games and achieved an average of 13.9 points per encounter. Hortmann's last stop at university level was the University of Wisconsin - Stout (third NCAA division) in the 2012/13 game year . In this season, in which his team had a good record with 20 wins and seven defeats, with statistically 14.7 points per use, he was the best thrower of the team. The 50 three-point throws he hit in the course of the season and the 5.6 rebounds collected per game were team internal top values.

As a professional basketball player, Hortman worked for the Gold Coast Rollers in the Australian SBL league in the 2014 spring season and was named the best SBL player of the season. For the 2016/17 season, Hortman moved to the German regional list TV Ibbenbüren. There he came to an average of 25.0 points per game and also scored 9.7 rebounds, 5.1 basket assists and 2.9 ball wins per encounter. Hortman eventually traveled back to the United States. Hortman was previously on the field for Schwelm in eleven games in the 2. Bundesliga ProB and scored an average of 18.6 points, 7.7 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 2.4 ball wins.

At the beginning of the 2018/19 season, Hortman played for the Croatian second division club KK Pula in 1981 and scored an average of 23.5 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game in four league appearances. In November 2018 he was signed by the German second division club FC Schalke 04 . In January 2019, Hortman's contract in Gelsenkirchen was terminated during the trial period for sporting reasons. He had played five games for S04 in the 2. Bundesliga ProA, stood on the field for an average of seven minutes per game and scored 0.4 points per mission.

For the 2019/20 season he moved to the Croatian first division club KK Dubrava Zagreb . At the end of February 2012, Hortman and KK Dubrava split up. Until then he had scored 14.5 points per game in the Croatian league.
