Chris Sievernich

Chris Sievernich (born December 10, 1946 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German film producer .

Live and act

Little is known about Sievernich's origins, early years and career at the moment. He came to film through Hark Bohm in the late 1970s as a production manager. In 1979 he joined the company Road Movies Filmproduktion von Wim Wenders as a partner and produced the majority of Wenders' productions over the next five years. After the great international success of Paris, Texas ( Golden Palm in May 1984 in Cannes), Sievernich gradually moved to Dublin, Los Angeles and London in the mid-1980s, where he continued his production activities. After initially ambitious films like John Huston's farewell performance Die Toten , Chris Sievernich was soon responsible for almost exclusively classic Hollywood mainstream entertainment like The Crow III - Deadly Redemption and Wedding Planner - Verliebt, engaged, planned as production manager (executive producer) . Sievernich has not been active as a film producer since 2007.
