Christ Denied is a death metal band from Madrid ( Spain ) founded in 1994 . They are considered one of the extreme music bands. Since the band members have not yet found a suitable drummer, they use a drum computer .

history

The band was founded as a project by the great Dave Rotten and his friend David " Nigger " (a pseudonym that is not entirely undisputed). The band came into being after Nigger Rotten showed some songs without singing that he had actually written for his own band Intoxication, which at the time was about to break up. Until then, Rotten sang with the Spanish Avulsed and also wanted to pursue his preference for extreme Deathgrind . The two then founded Christ Denied in 1994.

They played the first recordings to Olaf Firmer from Morbid Records , who offered them to record a split EP with Haemorrhage . This appeared in 1994 under the name Thy Horned God .

The debut album … Got What He Deserved was released in 1996 via Gulli Records and was later re-released by Repulse sub-label Qabalah Prod . A split 7 "with Mortician was planned, but never appeared. The material then appeared on a split MCD with Aborted, expanded by one title . A split CD followed with Bastard Saints from Italy.

When David Nigger moved to Germany in 2001, the band initially stopped all activities. In 2004 a compilation of rare songs by the band was released and Rotten focused on his main band Avulsed.

In 2011, Roger Infected from Infected Flesh joined the band. In 2012 the second album Cancer Eradication was released on Rotten's label Xtreem Music .

style

Christ Denied play chaotic Deathgrind and Brutal Death Metal with dark, deep, barely understandable guttural vocals as well as built-in so-called pig squeals, i.e. high notes that are reminiscent of pig screams. The programming of the drum computer focuses less on complexity, but is also not kept too simple. Musically, the American 1990s Death Metal as well as the Swedish and Danish styles of that time are used. The lyrics are anti-religious and blasphemous and also contain some splattered lyrics.
