Christa Matschl

Christa Matschl (born October 28, 1943 in Katharinaberg , district of Brüx , Sudetenland ) is a Bavarian politician ( CSU ) and a former member of the Bavarian State Parliament .

education and profession

Christa Matschl attended various schools from 1950 to 1960 and graduated from the municipal business school in 1960 with an intermediate level. Later she trained as an office and shipping clerk IHK. From 1962 to 1972 she worked as a commercial clerk. After the family break from 1972 to 1980, she worked as a school secretary from 1980 to 1993 until, from 1993, she worked as a manager in her own company, a property management company.

Christa Matschl is Roman Catholic, married and has one child.

politics

Christa Matschl joined the CSU on December 7, 1977. From 1989 to 1999 she was chairwoman of the Women's Union and from 1999 to 2011 she was CSU district chairwoman in the Erlangen-Höchstadt district . In terms of local politics, she was active as a member of the Uttenreuth municipal council and the district council.

Since September 28, 1998, she was a member of the state parliament, where she was a member of the Committee on Environment and Health and a member of the Committee on Federal and European Affairs. Until 2013 she represented the constituency of Erlangen-Höchstadt ( Middle Franconia ) in the state parliament.

Awards

Prime Minister Horst Seehofer awarded her the Bavarian Order of Merit on November 17, 2011 .
