In 1994 he received an offer from SC Farense , which he also accepted. During the season he played with the team in 30 games, four times the ball landed in the net. After the contract ended, he went back to his youth club Internacional, where he stayed for four years. He stood on the grass 50 times and scored 38 times. A year before the turn of the millennium, in 1999, he canceled the contract and signed a contract with the French club Paris Saint-Germain . There he was a member for two seasons and took part in 53 league games, of which he put a ball into goal 20 times. In 2001 he moved to the French club Girondins Bordeaux , in which he played 18 competitive games and scored two goals.

From 2002 to 2005 he was on loan at four different clubs. He received his first loan contract with Palmeiras , where he took part in 19 games and scored eight goals. In 2003 he was a player in the Turkish sports club Galatasaray Istanbul , took part with his team eleven times in football matches and scored three goals. A year later, in 2004, he was on loan from the Brazilian club Gremio Porto Alegre , where he played the most games in his career, namely 62 games, and shot 25 balls into the goal. His last year on loan was with the Brazilian club São Paulo , where he played 20 games and scored eight goals. During the four years on loan, he played 112 games and put a ball into goal 44 times.

Christian signed parallel to his career as a loan contract with the Japanese club parallelmiya Ardija , where he took part in 15 games and scored six goals. After the 2005/06 season, however, he ended the contract and signed a new one at the club Botafogo FR , where he stood five times on the lawn and scored one goal. At the same time, he signed a contract with the club EC Juventude , where he took part in 32 league games and shot the ball into the net 11 times. In 2007 he first played five games at Corinthians before he decided to leave the club after scoring five goals. After that, he went back to his youth club Internacional for the third time in the same year, after having had a contract in 1992 and from 1995 to 1999. After 19 games and four goals, he left the club again at the end of the season. As in 2007, he was also active in two clubs in 2008. First he was active at the Portuguesa club , at least he was in the nominations. There is no record of him participating in any games and consequently cannot have scored any goals. In the same year he was also active in the club CF Pachuca , where he was 13 times on the field and scored three goals. A year later he signed another contract with the Brazilian club Portuguesa , taking part in ten games and also scoring his last goal in one game.

From 2010 until the end of his career, he did not manage to score any goals. In 2010 he was active at two clubs, first he was under contract with Monte Azul, before he played three games for AD São Caetano after five goalless games , but where he also did not score any goals. In 2011 he was once again on the list of the club Esporte Clube Pelotas, but was not involved in any game and so can not have scored any goals.
