Christian Döring (lawyer)

Christian Döring (* 1958 in Gütersloh ) is a German lawyer .

Life

Döring studied at the Universities of Bielefeld and Freiburg. From 1985 to 1988 he was a research assistant at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg . In 1989 he received the doctoral scholarship from the state of Baden-Württemberg. Since 1990 he has been a lawyer and partner in a Stuttgart law firm specializing in private construction law and real estate law . He received his PhD in 1993. From 1990 to 1996 Christian Döring was a lecturer in private building law at the Biberach University of Applied Sciences . Since 1997 he has been a professor at the chair for private construction law at Biberach University.

Döring is a member of numerous committees such as the Institute for Building Law Freiburg im Breisgau eV, the German Society for Building Law and the Center for German and International Building Site and Civil Engineering Law.

Christian Döring is co-author of the journals IBR (Real Estate and Construction), id-Verlag, and BauR, Werner Verlag and co-author of VOB - Standard comments (Ingenstau / Korbion, VOB, Part A and B, Werner Verlag, Beck'scher VOB comment, Part C, Beck Verlag ). He also does a lot of publications and seminars on private construction and real estate law.
