Christian David Alexander von Heermann

Christian David Alexander Heermann , later von Heermann (born March 5, 1777 in Lotenberg ; † October 16, 1849 in Stuttgart ; nobilization unknown) was prelate and general superintendent of Schwäbisch Hall and Ludwigsburg .

Heermann was enrolled at the University of Tübingen on November 7, 1793 . He obtained there on January 2, 1795 the bachelor's degree and on September 28, 1797 the master's degree . From 1795 he was a scholarship holder at the Tübingen monastery . From 1800 he was vicar in Stuttgart, before he accepted a position as a librarian in 1802 and from 1803 also as a tutor at the Tübingen monastery. In 1805 he was appointed professor at the Evangelical Theological Seminary in Blaubeuren , and in 1810 professor at the Evangelical Theological Seminary in Schöntal . In 1807 Heermann married the daughter of Jakob Friedrich von Abel , Frederike Abel.

In 1824 he became dean in Schorndorf , in 1841 prelate and general superintendent of Schwäbisch Hall . In the same year Heermann was appointed prelate and general superintendent of Ludwigsburg . In this function he was a member of the second chamber of the Württemberg state parliament from 1841 until his retirement in 1848 .
