Christian Dawidowski

Christian Dawidowski (* 1971 in Gelsenkirchen ) is a German German philologist , literary scholar and literary didactician .

Life

Dawidowski studied German and Philosophy at the Ruhr University Bochum (degrees LA Sek. I / II, MA). After graduation in 1999 with a thesis on Robert Musil's early work he was to 2004 teacher at a secondary school in Iserlohn. From 2004 to 2008 he was seconded to the University of Siegen for the purpose of the didactic habilitation ( Venia legendi “Modern German Literature with Special Consideration of Literature and Media Didactics”). Then he was senior teacher for the Ministry of Schools and Education of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia and the Arnsberg district government (central high school diploma, advanced training). Dawidowski has held the chair (W3) for literary didactics at the University of Osnabrück since 2010 . His main research areas are empirical and historical literary didactics, as well as 19th and 20th century literature.
