Christian Frederik Knuth (Rittmeister)
Lehnsbaron Christian Frederik Knuth-Christiansdal (born March 22, 1788 in Copenhagen , † November 24, 1852 in Lilliendal ) was an officer in the Danish and Russian services and court hunter master .
Life
Knuth came from the Mecklenburg-Danish nobility family Knuth , he was the only son and the third of four children of Adam Christopher Knuth and his wife Sophia Magdalena, née. from Moltke . On November 25, 1819, he married Louise Charlotte von Buchwaldt in Neudorf , who gave birth to their son Adam in 1821 .
On November 27, 1807 Knuth became a volunteer in the Danish army and on December 20 of the same year Kornet in the Zeeland dragoon regiment. On June 2, 1809 he became second lieutenant , from October 11, 1810 he only had a position à la suite and on July 4, 1815, he took his leave. He later became a Russian captain . On February 8, 1820, he was appointed court hunter master.
