Christian Friedrich Wedemeyer

Christian Friedrich Wedemeyer (born October 2, 1747 in Hardegsen ; † April 12, 1828 Elbingerode (Harz) ) was a German senior bailiff .

Life

From 1794 until his death Christian Friedrich Wedemeyer was bailiff in Elbingerode, which - with interruptions between 1807 and 1813 - belonged to the Kingdom of Hanover . During the time of the Kingdom of Westphalia , he worked as a mayor of the canton of Elbingerode .

Wedemeyer was initially an auditor in Koldingen near Pattensen and then an official clerk in Polle , Brunstein and Scharzfeld , before he was transferred as clerk to the Elbingerode office in Hanover in 1791 . Here he took over the position of bailiff in 1794.

On 19 August 1783 Wedemeyer married in the church of St. George Berg in Ratzeburg the Johanne Friederike , nee Bona . Eight children emerged from this marriage, including the physician and physician Georg Ludwig Heinrich Carl Wedemeyer and the Hanoverian State Minister Johann Friedrich Adolph Ferdinand Wedemeyer .
