Christian Gerondeau

Christian Gerondeau (born March 23, 1938 ) is a public figure in France. After studying at the École polytechnique (until 1957) and the École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées , he founded the current route of the Réseau express régional .

Gerondeau is a graduate of the Paris École polytechnique and was head of its influential alumni organization for years . He was known as "Monsieur Sécurité" for his contributions to road safety and belonged to the French Sécurité Routière, a relevant transport association. Among other things, he was a member of the EU Commission and on the board of the World Bank . In France he was also President of the Association of Automobile Clubs such as the Institut français de politique publique . The EU's Gerondeau Report on Road Safety Policy 1991 deals, among other things, with the role of and the fight against alcohol in road traffic.

Regarding the current climate change , Gerondeau claimed, contrary to the state of the art, that there is no warming. He is on the board of directors of the French organization “climato-réalistes” and is a member of the “academic advisory board” of the British Global Warming Policy Foundation ; both organizations are included in the network of organized climate denial.
