Christian Grundl

Christian Grundl (born November 20, 1985 in Immenstadt im Allgäu ) is a German star chef.

Life

After completing his apprenticeship as a chef at the Bodensee Golf Hotel in Weißensberg , Grundl first worked at the Ritter St. Georg restaurant in Braunschweig. He then spent five years in Scotland , during which time he worked as a chef at the Gleneagles Hotel , the Hotel du Vin and The Gallery restaurant in Aberdeen . Then Grundl cooked under Sergio Herman in Oud Sluis in Holland , in the Speisemeisterei in Stuttgart under Frank Oehler , in Restaurant 5 also in Stuttgart and under Juan Amador in Restaurant Amador in Mannheim . In 2013, Grundl finally came to the Amtzell Academy as head chef . Under the name Schattbuch he was head chef until February and 2020 and runs the restaurant together with Christian Marz. What he is doing today is not known.

In 2019, Grundl took part in the Sat. 1 show Top Chef Germany. He lives in cheeks .
