Christian Höreth

Christian Höreth (born March 3, 1970 in Bayreuth ) is a German presenter , sports reporter and author .

Life

Since 2002 he has been the official tour host of Boris Becker all over Europe (over 70 show fights). He also moderated some of the most important German tennis tournaments in Hamburg at Rothenbaum ( Masters ), in Halle (Westphalia) ( Gerry Weber Open ) and in Stuttgart ( Mercedes Cup ). In 2012 he was the first place speaker for the German Davis Cup team in Bamberg (Argentina) and Hamburg (Australia). He worked as a sports reporter for the 2006 World Cup in Germany and also commented live on over 100 Bundesliga and Champions League games for the Internet radio of FC Bayern Munich and for the German Football League ( Liga Live ). Christian Höreth won seven radio awards between 2000 and 2014 (four Bavarian radio main awards in the categories of daily reporting, reportage, radio drama and culture as well as three radio awards from the Nuremberg Metropolitan Region in the categories of comedy, daily reporting and entertainment). In 2008 he was nominated for the Bavarian Broadcasting Award in the Comedy category, and in 2003 he made it to the finals of the ffn comedy award. In 2012 and 2013 he moderated the Scottish Music Parade in Germany and Switzerland as conférencier - among others in the Gewandhaus in Leipzig and in the Circus Krone in Munich .

His main station is Radio Mainwelle in Bayreuth . Here he had been working since 1994, initially as head of sports, later as editor-in-chief and magazine manager. From 1995 he presented the morning show of Radio Mainwelle as anchorman. As a sports reporter, he has worked for numerous other broadcasters. He is the hall spokesman for the first division basketball players of medi bayreuth (formerly BBC Bayreuth) and stadium spokesman for SpVgg Oberfranken Bayreuth . But he was also used several times as a stadium announcer for SpVgg Greuther Fürth . He wrote over 100 glosses and columns for the Bayreuth magazines Punkt and Pampa . As a presenter, he is on the road all over Germany (including Hanover Fair , national fashion shows, FC Bayern Opel Tour). Together with his colleague Jürgen Rank, he founded his own football museum in 2001 in honor of his favorite club, SpVgg Bayreuth. Christian Höreth has been editor-in-chief at Radio Mainwelle again since 2012. Since 2013 he has been Managing Director for PR and Marketing at SpVgg Oberfranken Bayreuth. Since the beginning of 2015 he has hosted a personalized afternoon program: The Christian Höreth Show . Under the name Simply delicious , he regularly moderates a cooking show on television with alternating Upper Franconian chefs on the regional broadcaster TVO .
