Christian Ingrao (2018)

Christian Ingrao (born June 13, 1970 in Clermont-Ferrand ) is a Belgian historian who works in France .

Life

Ingrao attended school in Clermont-Ferrand and began studying history there at the Université Blaise Pascal . He continued his studies at the Université de Paris IV Sorbonne and the Université de Picardie in Amiens and received his doctorate in 2001. Research stays took him to the Hamburg Institute for Social Research and the Université Catholique de l'Ouest in Angers . Ingrao teaches at Sciences Po in Paris . He has been director of the Institut d'Histoire du Temps Present of the Center national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS) since 2008 .

Ingrao has presented various studies on the First World War and the time of National Socialism .
