Christian Kerez (* 1962 in Maracaibo , Venezuela ) is a Swiss architect .

Life

Christian Kerez studied at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich. After various publications in the field of architectural photography, he opened his own architecture office in Zurich in 1993 and another office in Berlin in 2017 . between 2012 and 2013 he was the Kenzo Tange Chair at Harvard University Graduate School of Design in Cambridge . In 2016 he played in the Swiss pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale.

Teaching

Christian Kerez has worked at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich since 2001, initially as a visiting professor , from 2003 as an assistant professor and since 2009 as a professor of architecture and design.
