Christian Klinkenberg

Christian Klinkenberg (born January 3, 1976 in Eupen , Belgium ) is a Belgian pianist and composer .

Life

From 2002 to 2006, Klinkenberg studied jazz arrangement and composition with Kris Defoort at the Koninklijk Conservatorium in Brussels . From 2006 to 2012 he studied classical composition with Jan Van Landeghem . His compositional work is characterized by the combination of contemporary composition techniques such as metric modulation and microtonal music as well as improvisation in jazz.
