Christian Koffi N'Dri (* 4. June 1983 in Abidjan ), known by his stage name Romaric , is a former Ivorian football player , who with his country at the 2006 FIFA World Cup took part.

Career

Romaric played in his youth and at the beginning of his professional days at ASEC Mimosas before he moved to KSK Beveren during the 2003/04 season and became a fan favorite there. In 2005 the midfielder was looking for a new challenge and moved to Le Mans UC 72 in the French Ligue 1 . Shortly after moving to France, Romaric was seriously injured in a car accident and could not be used for a long time.

For the 2008/09 season he moved to Sevilla FC .

For the 2011/12 season he switched to Espanyol Barcelona on loan before finally parting with Sevilla FC after a year and joining Real Saragossa . After spending two years at SC Bastia , he moved to Omonia Nicosia in 2015 . Here he played one season and then went to the Indian club NorthEast United FC in the Indian Super League . He ended his career here after the 2016 season.

National team

Due to his versatility and his impressive physique, Romaric was also recommended for the Ivorian national team . The then 22-year-old played his first international match against France on August 17, 2005 . He has already played for his country nine times (as of September 2006) . The midfielder took part in both the 2006 African Cup of Nations and the World Cup in the same year . At the World Cup, Romaric came on a mission. In the 2-1 defeat against the Netherlands , he was in the starting line-up and was substituted in the 62nd minute.
