Christian Lente Freyherr von Adeler (born November 29, 1784 in Lundbek ( Jutland ), † March 7, 1844 in Stuttgart ) was a lawyer and bailiff .

Life

Christian Lente Freyherr von Adeler came from a Danish noble family . His father was Conrad Wilhelm Baron Adeler (* 1739, † 1785), his mother was Ulrica Helene de Cicignon.

He became the Royal Danish Chamberlain on July 31, 1815 on the occasion of the coronation of Frederick VI .

In 1799 he became a student and received his doctorate in 1817 at the University of Copenhagen to the doctor of law , then he became steward in Flensburg . In Flensburg he got into disputes with the judicial counsel and higher court attorney Josias thor Straten, which led to Christian Lente asking Freyherr von Adeler for a new position. On April 11, 1829 he was appointed bailiff of the Holstein offices of Traventhal , Reinfeld and Rethwisch . But here too he made himself hated by his subordinates because of his imperious and inconsiderate behavior, so that he was sued by the Hufner Schenkenberg. After a lengthy process, Christian Lente Freyherr von Adeler was sentenced to a fine on May 12, 1842 for abuse of authority against the Hufner Schenkenberg; furthermore, he was to be given six months' imprisonment (of the mitigated degree) for invective in his defense . He then asked to be released from the service and moved to Stuttgart .

Christian Lente Freyherr von Adeler was married to Charlotte Marie Louise geb. von Warnstedt (born April 28, 1787 in Loitmark near Kappeln , † November 27, 1868 in Itzehoe ); the marriage remained childless.
