Christian Lokervitz
Christian Lokervitz (born August 7, 1650 in Stralsund ; † September 7, 1697 there ) was a German university professor for oriental languages and an Evangelical Lutheran clergyman.
Life
Christian Lokervitz was matriculated in Greifswald in 1664 , received his Master's degree in 1678 in Wittenberg and became professor of oriental languages in Greifswald in 1680. He acquired the theological licentiate degree here and took over the preposition in Loitz in 1685 . In 1687 Lokervitz became a deacon at St. Nikolai in Stralsund.
Christian Lokervitz was married to Marie Dorothea Pommeresche.
