Christian Lokervitz (born August 7, 1650 in Stralsund ; † September 7, 1697 there ) was a German university professor for oriental languages and an Evangelical Lutheran clergyman.

Life

Christian Lokervitz was matriculated in Greifswald in 1664 , received his Master's degree in 1678 in Wittenberg and became professor of oriental languages ​​in Greifswald in 1680. He acquired the theological licentiate degree here and took over the preposition in Loitz in 1685 . In 1687 Lokervitz became a deacon at St. Nikolai in Stralsund.

Christian Lokervitz was married to Marie Dorothea Pommeresche.
