Christian Núñez (full name: Christian Washington Núñez Medina ) (born September 24, 1982 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Depending on the sources, 1.72 m or 1.74 m tall, called Pichón , right full -back Núñez began his career at Huracán Buceo , where he made his debut at the age of 17. Until 2004 he last played for the club in the Segunda División . From 2005 to 2008 he was in the ranks of the Centro Atlético Fénix . With the club from the Montevidean Barrio Capurro , he won the Torneo Apertura of the 2nd division of Uruguay in 2007. From the Torneo Apertura 2008 he joined CA Cerro . There he won the Liguilla Pre-Libertadores with his teammates in 2009 . On August 6, 2009 he took the same step as his coach at Cerro, Eduardo Acevedo , and moved to Nacional Montevideo . After Nacional decided the Torneo Apertura 2009/10 and the Torneo Clausura 2010/11 in his favor during his club membership , Núñez recorded his greatest success in professional football in the 2010/11 season by winning the Uruguayan championship. In the following season he defended the title with his teammates. By the end of his club membership, Núñez had recorded 94 league games (four goals), one Liguilla appearance and 21 Copa Libertadores matches for the Bolsos . After the season 2013/14 he left the club and joined Independiente in the Nacional B to. With the Argentines he completed four league appearances (no goal) in the Nacional B until his last appearance on November 23, 2013. At the end of December 2013, he left the club and joined the Ecuadorian club coached by his former coach at Fénix, Pablo Repetto Independiente del Valle . So far (as of October 20, 2016) he has played 107 games (five goals) in Primera A and came in 24 times (one goal) in the Copa Libertadores (competitions 2014, 2015 and 2016) and four times (no goal) used in the Copa Sudamericana 2014 .
