Christian Pieper
Christian Pieper (born September 17, 1843 in Osnabrück , Kingdom of Hanover , † 1934 in Stuttgart ) was a German portrait , genre and landscape painter from the Düsseldorf School .
Life
Pieper studied painting from 1870 to 1880 at the Düsseldorf Art Academy . There were Andreas and Karl Müller , Heinrich Lauenstein , Eduard von Gebhardt , Wilhelm Lotz , Julius Roeting and above all Wilhelm Sohn , whose first painting class and master class he last attended, his teachers.
