Christian Redmann (born March 16, 1982 in Toronto ) is a Canadian beach volleyball player .
Career
Redman reached fifth place with Chris Simek at the U21 Beach World Championship in Catania in 2002 . He then played internationally with various partners and from July 2006 to 2008 with Josh Binstock . Redmann / Binstock did not get beyond 33rd place in the Open series , but were able to achieve several top 3 placements in satellite tournaments. In 2009 and 2010 Redman played alongside Richard van Huizen , with whom he finished ninth at the World Cup in Stavanger .
In 2011 and 2012, Redman competed with Ben Saxton . Redmann / Saxton took 17th place at the World Championships in Rome and became NORCECA vice-champions in Mexico . They missed the qualification for the Olympic Summer Games in London by a defeat in the national duel against Josh Binstock and Martin Reader .
In 2013 Redman first played on the continental tour with Matt Zbyszewski and later formed a duo again with his former partner Josh Binstock. Since June 2013 Redman has been playing alongside Maverick Hatch , with whom he won two national tournaments in Austria and Switzerland. In Trinidad , Redman / Hatch became NORCECA champions in 2013.
