Christian Reimann (born November 28, 1979 in Stadtroda ) is a German football player .
Career
Reimann began his career in youth at FSV Grün Weiß Stadtroda and then joined SV Schott Jena . In 2000 he returned to Grün Weiß Stadtroda, where he played until 2002 and then joined VfB Pößneck . After two years at Pößneck, he joined the upper division VFC Plauen in the summer of 2004 . Reimann played 66 games in his two and a half years with Plauen and scored 47 goals. In January 2007 he left VFC Plauen and joined league rivals FC Sachsen Leipzig . During his time in Leipzig, Reimann scored 20 goals in 29 games. This quota earned him a contract with 1. FC Magdeburg . In Magdeburg he made his regional league debut on the first day of the 2008/09 season and played from the start against the reserves of Hannover 96 until he scored his first goal against Türkiyemspor Berlin on the 15th day . In total, he scored two goals for Magdeburg in 26 games and was signed by the newly founded RB Leipzig in 2009 . He played in 30 games for RB Leipzig in the Oberliga NOFV-Süd in the 2009/10 season . On July 7, 2010, he and Alexander Moritz moved from RB Leipzig to the Thuringian third division club FC Carl Zeiss Jena . Reimann made his debut in professional football for FC Carl Zeiss Jena against 1. FC Heidenheim on July 24, 2010 . In July 2011 Reimann was suspended, after which he was only a member of the Jena reserve team. His contract was terminated on August 29, 2011. In September 2011 Reimann returned to his home club FSV Grün-Weiß Stadtroda , to which he still belongs to this day. In 2012 he rose with the club in the Thuringian League and a year later from again.
