Christian Rohde (born October 3, 1982 in Füssen ) is a former German ice hockey goalkeeper who was active in the German ice hockey league with the Augsburger Panthern , Hannover Scorpions , Duisburger Füchsen as well as in the 2nd ice hockey Bundesliga and DEL2 for EV Ravensburg and SC Bietigheim-Bissingen played.

Career

Christian Rohde began his career as an ice hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of EV Füssen , for whose senior team he made his debut in the fourth-class regional ice hockey league in the 1999/2000 season . From 2000 to 2002 the goalkeeper stood between the posts for the Augsburg Panthers from the German Ice Hockey League . At the same time he was used for their second team in the fourth division. For the 2002/03 season he joined the SC Bietigheim-Bissingen from the 2nd Bundesliga ice hockey . The following season he started with the Hannover Scorpions in the DEL and finished it with the Straubing Tigers in the 2nd Bundesliga. From 2004 to 2008 he played for Füchse Duisburg - initially for one year in the 2nd Bundesliga and from 2005 for three years in the DEL. During this period he also worked for the DEL team Krefeld Pinguine , the Hanover Indians from the third-class ice hockey league and for the second division Heilbronner Falken .

For the 2008/09 season , Rohde was signed by EV Ravensburg from the 2nd Bundesliga, where he was mostly a regular goalkeeper until 2016. Due to a large number of injuries, he decided to retire in 2016.
