Christian Seeberger

Christian Seeberger (born February 27, 1975 in Kaufbeuren ) is a former German ice hockey player who played on the position of defender . In the German Ice Hockey League he was active for the Kaufbeurer Adler .

Career

Christian Seeberger began his career in the junior teams of his home club ESV Kaufbeuren . In 1993 he represented the German national ice hockey team at the European Junior Championships. In the 1994/95 season he stood for the first time for the professional team of the Kaufbeurer Adler in the DEL on the ice, for which he played a total of two and a half years. During the 1996/97 season , Seeberger moved to the second-rate first division North to EHC Neuwied and was able to win the DEB League Cup and the first division championship with the club in the same year. He was able to defend the latter title with the team in the following season.

After three years in the jersey of the Neuwied Bears, he signed on for a season with league rivals EC Bad Nauheim . Seeberger only spent one season with Hessen and then returned to Neuwied to play in the Regionalliga for the successor club to EHC Neuwied, which had since gone bankrupt . After he had immediately made promotion to the league with SC Mittelrhein , he also played the first season in the new league with the club. From the 2002/03 season he was part of the Stuttgart Wizards for four seasons , initially for a year in the Baden-Württemberg League and the following three again in the Oberliga. Since the 2006/07 game year , the defender has been back in the Regionalliga and the Baden-Württembergliga, where he first played for one and a half years for EC Ulm / Neu-Ulm and then for one year for ESV Hügelsheim . In the 2008/09 season he was part of the Stuttgart Rebels squad before ending his career.
