Christian T. Petersen (game designer)
Christian T. Petersen (* in Washington, DC , United States) is an American game designer and founder of the American game publisher Fantasy Flight Games .
Life
Christian T. Petersen was born in Washington, DC , but spent most of his childhood up to university in Denmark ( Espergærde , later Rungsted ) near Copenhagen. In 1988 he founded Pegasus Game Import , which imported board games from Avalon Hill and sold them in Scandinavia. In 1990 he founded Games Weekend in Denmark , a regular meeting of players.
Petersen moved to the United States, where he received his BA in Economics from St. Olaf College in Northfield , Minnesota in 1995 . In the same year he founded Fantasy Flight Publishing , where he initially distributed European comics. In 1997 it became Fantasy Flight Games , which published its game Twilight Imperium . Since then, he has developed and released various games, including Doom - Das Brettspiel 2004 and StarCraft - Das Brettspiel 2007.
