Christiane Schlosser works on canvas, paper and on walls, with a brush or pencil. The mostly large-format pictures are created as a type of writing that is updated from picture to picture. She paints in two, at most three colors. Sometimes the images are tone on tone. She covers the monochrome surface with lines or braided lines. She works with omissions, breaks in the line, which become visible as small squares, dashes or apostrophes.

Her works, paintings and drawings, belong to the collections of Kunstraum Alexander Bürkle, Deutsche Bank, the Museum Pfalzgalerie Kaiserslautern, the Ministry of Education, Science, Further Education and Culture Mainz, the municipal art gallery Mannheim, the Artothek of the New Berlin Art Association Berlin , the Kupferstichkabinett Berlin and the graphic collection of the Städel Museum in Frankfurt am Main.
