Christina, almost 17, moves with her father and brother to a town in the provinces to be close to her mother, who is housed in a psychiatric clinic. Both her boyfriend Eddy and temporary worker Howie have their eye on Christina, which is a thorn in her father's side. She also has to take care of her 14-year-old brother. Strange things soon happen, Christina hears footsteps and other noises from the attic, although no one seems to live there. Several girls from their surroundings disappear without a trace. One day the doors are stuck; Windows cannot be opened or destroyed. Now the secret of this house is revealed.
