Live and act

The native of the Sauerland now lives as a writer in Essen. Here she founded the YMCA community project e / motion and the women's initiative Sisterhood together with others in 1999 .

From 2003 to the end of 2012 she was employed by the Missionary Church Working Group (AMK) at the Evangelical Church in the Rhineland (EKIR) with a focus on “Spiritual Longing”. This is where the “Time of the Master” format was created.

Since 2006 she has devoted herself increasingly to her literary work. After her first two novels were set in India and Burma, her third novel "Café Mandelplatz" is inspired by her experiences in South Africa. 2Flügel-Verlag was founded with this novel. In her book Reformation des Herzens (2016), written together with Jürgen Mette , Hartmut Jaeger criticized the fact that , according to the authors, the account of creation is "just poetry".

Brudereck gives lectures and organizes readings on her main topic “Spirituality and human rights issues”. She is particularly concerned with the countries of South Africa, Myanmar and India.
