Christine Fehér

Christine Fehér (born January 22, 1965 in Berlin ) is a German author of books for children and young people .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1984, she studied Protestant theology at the Pedagogical-Theological Institute in Berlin and subsequently taught as a religion teacher at various schools in Berlin, including in the school of a clinic for child and adolescent psychiatry. Since 2007 she has been working at a primary school.

In 2001 she presented her first Luisa children's books, which have since been accompanied by numerous other books for children and young people. Partly in several editions among others in the publishing group Random House followed.

Her youth books take up existential problems and borderline experiences of adolescents and young adults, such as anorexia in Then I'm Just Gone , Stalking in Every Step of You , Unplanned Pregnancy in Eleventh Week , Gender Identity and Transsexuality in Because I Am That Way and Body . The title, which was awarded the Buxtehude Bull , then I just stop, describes the suicide of an 18-year-old from the changing perspectives of family members, friends and teachers.
