Christine Hocq (born October 12, 1970 in Casablanca , Morocco ) is a former French triathlete .

Career

Christine Hocq was born in Morocco and was active in swimming in her youth. From 1994 she started for the Beauvais Triathlon club .

2000 Summer Olympics

Christine Hocq, along with Stéphan Bignet , Carl Blasco , Olivier Marceau , Béatrice Mouthon and their sister Isabelle , was nominated by the French National Olympic Committee (NOK) for the premiere of triathlon at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney . She finished in the singles as the second best French woman finished eighth.

In 1997, 2000 and again in 2001 she became French Vice State Champion in the short distance triathlon. It has not appeared internationally since 2001.
