Christine Lindemer

Christine Lindemer (born November 25, 1909 in Stuttgart , † 1999 in Dessau ) was a German actress .

Live and act

Christine Lindemer was born in Stuttgart as the daughter of an actor couple. In Vienna, she first learned the profession of theater photographer, where she developed an increasing interest in acting. Therefore, she later worked as an actress on stages in Stuttgart, Wiesbaden and Ulm . In 1941 she moved to the Dessau Theater , where she was involved in many performances as a character actress for over 50 years. She also played in two films. She died in Dessau in 1999.

In 1989 Christine Lindemer became an honorary member of the theater, in 1996 of the Friends of the Dessau Theater , of which she was a founding member. On the occasion of her 100th birthday, the Friends of the Dessau Theater had her original gravestone of master stonemason Kurt Thieme erected as a memorial stone in the historic cemetery after it had been removed from her grave site at the central cemetery in Kleinkühnau at the request of the cemetery administration for violating the statutes valid at the time had to.
