Christian Union of German Railway Workers

The Christian Union of German Railway Workers (CGDE) was founded in 1908 as a union for railway workers in Germany. It organizes several thousand members at Deutsche Bahn AG and its subsidiaries.

Federal chairman was Alfred Junker until 2011; Hans-Jürgen Ambrosius , who was chosen as his successor in February 2011, died a month later. The current federal chairman of the CGDE has been Rudolf Bruns since May 2011.

The office is located in Saarbrücken . There are two regional associations in Bavaria and North Rhine-Westphalia .
