Motorists Union

The motorists' union (KFG) was founded by motorists on March 28, 1992 in Bottrop and is a trade union in the Christian Trade Union Federation of Germany (CGB). It is based in Bremen .

The KFG sees itself as a politically, denominational and economically independent representation of professional drivers active in Germany in the road freight and passenger transport sector, which is committed to the professional and collective bargaining issues of its members and is also involved in the field of road safety, vocational training and further education. It does not provide any information about the number of its members. It has not yet proven its ability to pay a collective agreement and has not concluded any collective agreements.

At the trade union day on April 10, 2010 in Hamburg , Willy Schnieders, FDP member from Emstek , was elected federal chairman.
