Christo Stanishev

Christo Arapnakow Stanischew ( Bulgarian Христо Арапнаков Станишев ; * December 24, 1863 in Kilkis , today Greece ; † 1952 in Sofia in Bulgaria ) was a Bulgarian engineer, revolutionary , freedom fighter, politician of the " Supreme Macedonia-Adrianople Committee , bulg." . Върховния македоно-одрински комитет ) and between July 1897 and May 1899 his leader. He was a member of the Macedonian Scientific Institute in Sofia.

On January 29, 1895, Macedonian and Thracian Bulgarians founded the refugee organization Pirin Planina in the port city of Burgas on the initiative of Stanishev .
