Christoph Entzelt (also: Enzelius ; * 1517 in Saalfeld / Saale ; † March 15, 1583 in Osterburg ) was a German Protestant clergyman and historian .

Christoph Entzelt studied from 1532 at the University of Wittenberg , where he attended Martin Luther's lectures. In 1539 he became rector in Tangermünde , then pastor in Rathenow and in 1558 pastor in Osterburg.

In addition to his pastoral work, he dealt with the history of the Brandenburg Altmark . As a result of his research he published in Magdeburg in 1579 a “Cronika der alten Mark”, which was shaped by regent genealogies and which saw several later editions and is considered the first independent historical work of the Altmark.
