Christoph Hackenesch

Christoph Johannes Hackenesch (born January 28,  1986 in Bielefeld ) is a former German basketball player .

career

Hackenesch moved from SV Brackwede to the Paderborn Baskets , with whom he was the champion of the northern group of the 2nd basketball league  in the basketball league in the 2005/06 season . Until 2008, the 2.04 meter tall inside player had played 35 Bundesliga games for Paderborn, but remained a substitute player.

Hackenesch continued his basketball career with the SCH Würzburg Baskets and was involved in the team's promotion from the regional league to the 2nd Bundesliga ProB in the 2008/09 season . After two years in Würzburg, he returned to West Germany in 2010 and from then on played for the Hertener Löwen in the 2nd Bundesliga ProB, while he advanced his teaching degree in English and sports. During his time in Herten, he reached the quarter-finals with the Löwen in 2011, the semi-finals in 2012 and the quarter-finals again in 2013. In these three years, Hackenesch achieved double-digit point averages and was also one of the team's leading rebounders.

In 2013 he moved to the 2nd Bundesliga ProA at ETB Essen . There he spent another three seasons. In 2016 he left the club, moved to Würzburg and played for the TG Würzburg in the 2nd Bundesliga ProB in the 2016/17 season.
